We appreciate that a holiday can be a major purchase for our guests and that it is important that they can book with confidence. Booking agencies and sites can add a hefty premium to our rates and it is almost always better value to book directly with the owner.

For example if you book with us via our listing on Trip Advisor you'll be charged a booking fee by them on top of our own charges. The amount they add can be between 4% and 10% of the holiday price. This is completely avoidable by booking direct with the owner. Most independent owners now have websites and  we all do our best to make ourselves easy to find!

Obviously though if you do want to book direct you do need to be confident that the accommodation you are reserving is of the standard you expect and in this day and age of internet scams that it is also legitimate.

With this in mind, we took the decision in January to submit ourselves for grading by "Visit Wales" and I am delighted to say that  they have awarded us a grade of 4* so you may book with us knowing that we have been independently inspected and will continue to be at regular intervals.
